iPhone widget
Coin Tracker
A coin's market cap, what your holding is worth and a 24-hour chart, on your Home Screen. It runs in the free Scriptable app, with no account and no API key.
-
Install Scriptable
Get Scriptable from the App Store. It's free.
-
Add Coin Tracker to Scriptable
Already see Coin Tracker in Scriptable? Skip to step 3. Adding it again makes a second copy.
No copying or pasting: download the script, then open it, and Scriptable adds it already named Coin Tracker.
1. Tap Download, and Download again if Safari asks.
2. Open it: tap the download icon at the end of Safari's address bar, then tap Coin Tracker. If it shows the file's text instead of opening Scriptable, tap the share icon and choose Scriptable.
If you see "The data couldn't be read because it isn't in the correct format", ignore it and open Scriptable: Coin Tracker will already be in the list.
You only do this once. The script fetches the latest version from this site each time it runs, so updates arrive on their own.
Didn't work? Paste it in instead
Copy and open: this copies the script and opens Scriptable on a blank script. Press and hold in the blank script and tap Paste, rename it Coin Tracker and tap Done.
Copy it by hand: copy the script, open Scriptable, tap +, paste it in and name it Coin Tracker.

Add a Scriptable widget
Press and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen until the icons wiggle, then tap Edit (top left) and Add Widget. Search for Scriptable, swipe to the size you want and tap Add Widget.
It will say "Select script in widget configurator" for now. That's expected.
-
Make your coin's line
Each widget tracks one coin. Paste the coin's GMGN link or its token address, then either how many tokens you hold or your wallet address.
In Edit Widget, press and hold the Parameter box, tap Select All, then Copy.
With a wallet address the widget reads your balance itself, so it stays right when you buy or sell. Works on Robinhood Chain, Solana, Base, Ethereum, BNB Chain and Arbitrum.
The chart and the % change both cover this timeframe. A coin younger than it shows its whole life so far.
Using a web widget app instead of Scriptable? Copy this link instead (see "No Scriptable?" below).
-
Paste it into the widget
Press and hold the new widget and tap Edit Widget. A panel opens with three settings:
Script: tap it and choose Coin Tracker.
When Interacting: leave it as it is. The "When tapped" choice in step 4 decides what a tap does.
Parameter: tap the box that says "Text" and paste the line you copied.Tap outside the panel to close it. The widget fills in within a few seconds. If it doesn't, open Scriptable and tap Coin Tracker once to run it.
Tap to refresh
If you chose "Refreshes the widget" in step 4, make this shortcut once. A Scriptable widget can't refresh on a tap by itself, so the shortcut does it. You'll see Scriptable and Shortcuts flash past, then you're back on your Home Screen with fresh figures.
- Open the Shortcuts app and tap +.
- Add Scriptable's widget-refresh action: search the actions for Scriptable and pick the one that refreshes or reloads widgets.
- Add Go to Home Screen after it.
- Name the shortcut exactly Refresh Coin Tracker.
No Scriptable? Use a web widget app
The same widget is also a web page, so any app that shows a web page in a widget can show it. There's no script to add.
- Install a web widget app, for example Widget Web.
- Fill in step 4 above, then tap Copy web link.
- In the app, add a new page and paste the link as its address. A refresh every 15 minutes or so is plenty.
- Add the app's widget to your Home Screen and pick that page in Edit Widget.
Good to know
- iOS decides when widgets refresh. Expect every 15 to 30 minutes, and less often when your battery is low.
- Prices and market cap come from DexScreener, and the chart from GeckoTerminal. They show the same pools GMGN does.
- If a refresh fails, the widget keeps the last numbers it had and marks them "cached".
- It works for any coin DexScreener lists, on any chain. It works out the chain from the token address.
- It works in small, medium and large Home Screen sizes, and on the Lock Screen.
